demolition team. I came to the derby to help out John (BAD NEWS) Brophy and (Vicious) Vicky Elliott. There friend was driving under the name BYRDMAN. My friend Drew was there with a car painted as HELLRAIASER. The first heat was great BYRDMAN got in as a fans choice and drew lasted down to the wire but his car was beaten by a 68 new
Yorker under the name SICKHEAD. Drew ended up getting a judges choice and made it to the final. His car was too beaten up so he had to borrow a car. Below are some pics of the prerace cars and some 1st heat action. Some pics of the final are to follow. I mounted the
roof cam on the Byrdmans car but forgot to turn it on. Oh well!! there is always next time.
