Now that I finally got a heat win under my belt I feel as though I am heading in the right direction. In May 98 I got a heat win. I attended the June derby and worked in the pits for John (BAD NEWS) Brophy and (Vicious) Vicky Elliott. The driver ran under BYRDMAN and he qualified as a fans choice in the event. My friend Drew ran a car called HELLRAISER and ran a good heat only to be beaten by a sturdy 68 new yorker.

In July we straightened out the LOONEY TOONS car as best as we could and my friend John A ran under the name THE ANVIL. John Brophy used the car in the final being his Cadzilla busted up the drive shaft and tranny. But the car was suffering electrical problems and didn't last long in the final.

I'll be at the August demo to take some pictures and hopefully I can get this site updated soon.
